My art focuses on the world around me.  Through my travels and interest in birds, botanicals and nature I explore the characteristics of each.  Being a native Texan, and 6^th generation Austinite, has influenced my practice and focus.  I have developed a personal style using a variety of watercolor techniques, giving personality, character, and affect into my work.
