Wow I would love to have a center like this in Austin at our children’s hospital. In November the hospital announced a $1.5 million Expressive Therapy Center that would house therapeutic arts for children with serious or life-threatening health problems.
The center includes an art area for drawing, painting and sculpting; a music section with drums, pianos, CD players and other items. It is now open.
Here is a follow up to the art therapy being done with children who were victims of the tornado’s in Alabama.
