Mural Rendering

My dearest ever colleague Wanda Montemayor, Artist, Art Therapist and Middle School Counseling Queen and some other fabulous artists and volunteers are creating a Mural in Oak Hill to honor and remember all who helped during last years Pinnacle wildfire. Volunteer Opportunities to work on the mural are available! They are laying out the tiles on the floor and creating and glazing tiles. Exciting! Volunteer days: Sept 23; Oct 7 & 21; Nov 11. Time: 1-3 at O’Henry Middle School.

The group was also recently awarded a small grant from Keep Austin Beautiful. I love public art and the people who make it!
